Martha’s Table Open 11am-1pm Saturday, 04 September  2010!!!

The Martha’s Table Ministry will be hosting an event on 04 September 2010.  We will be preparing a meal for the needy and working poor in our local community from 11Am-1Pm.  Volunteers are encouraged to arrive at 10Am.

During this time there will also be a free health screening to include height and weight, blood pressure and other medical information. This is open to anyone who wishes to take advantage of this service. No fee.

Please see food bank post below if you would like to donate non-perishable items to support our mission to feed the stomach and souls of the less fortunate in our community.

The church will have a food drive on the first Sunday of every month beginning September 05, 2010.  The food will be used to stock a food pantry for the needy in this community. Please bring non-perishable items.

Person St. UMC’s annual yard sale is scheduled for September 25, 2010.

We will have a work day from 9am-12pm every Wednesday to prepare for it. Volunteers are welcome and appreciated.More information to follow, closer to event. Please start cleaning out your attics and garages to prepare for this wonderful event.
